OUR RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
We understand that quality lies in the details. That’s why we cooperate
with world-class raw materials suppliers and set the bar high on
standards in each component we use to build a cartridge. Our Ninestar
materials engineers analyze all raw materials that will be used in
cartridges in the lab. These include inks, toners, drums, and other
components. State-of-the-art measuring and testing equipment is employed
to ensure all the components complement and function together
perfectly, before being sent to the production lines.
Laboratory
Ninestar’s state-or-the-art lab is where we develop, test and qualify components as well as cartridges. The 1,500 square meter lab (about the size of four basketball courts) boasts the latest, best and largest in precise measuring instruments and testing equipment in the global industry.
ROHS tester
…tests for harmful substances such as lead, mercury, polybrominated biphenyls and other toxic substances to ensure you receive environmentally safe and compliant printer cartridges.
Temperature and humidity chamber
… simulates different temperatures and humidity conditions for 12-24 hours or 14-21 days to make sure Ninestar cartridges will perform and deliver dependable results, no matter the weather, climate or humidity of your location.
Coordinate measuring machine
… measures the 2D and 3D angles of different components to help improve the precision in manufacturing the various parts.
